1. The elevator can neither close nor open the door.
Troubleshooting and Elimination Methods:
① Control circuit fuse or door machine circuit fuse is too loose or blown. It should be tightened or replaced.
② The drive belt of lift door operator slips. Tighten the belt or replace it.
③ The resistor of the lift door operator is broken and disconnected. Replace the resistor.
④ Individual connection endpoints of lift door operator circuit are loose and fall off. Tighten the lines to keep them open.
⑤ The door cannot be opened or closed by the key at the base station. If the contact is poor, clean it with absolute alcohol and adjust the contact spring.
2. After arriving at the floor, the elevator door cannot open.
Troubleshooting and Elimination Methods:
① The limit switch of secondary door is damaged, which makes the door opening relay unable to get electricity and the elevator unable to open the door. Replace the limit switch of secondary door.
② If the door opening relay is damaged, replace the door opening relay.
③ The permanent magnet relay (commonly known as reed switch) in the door opening area is damaged, making the door opening control relay unable to pull in. The normally open contact is still disconnected, so the door opening relay cannot get electricity and open the door. Replace the permanent magnet relay in the door opening area.
3. Press the close button, but the door cannot close.
Troubleshooting and Elimination Methods:
① If the contact of the close button is poor or damaged, repair or replace it.
② The third-level door-closing limit switch is damaged, so that the door-closing relay cannot get electricity and the elevator cannot close. Replace the third-level door-closing limit switch.
③ If the closing relay is damaged, replace the closing relay.
4. The elevator has accepted the floor selection signal and the door is closed, but it cannot be started.
Troubleshooting and Elimination Methods:
① The car door is closed in place, but the interlock switch of the car door is not turned on. So the door lock relay cannot get electricity. The elevator cannot be started. Adjust or replace the interlock switch of car door.
② The hoistway door is not closed in place and the hoistway door interlock switch is not switched on. The door lock relay cannot get electricity, so it cannot be started. Re-open and close the door. If it doesn’t work, adjust the door speed or interlock switch of the hall door.
③ The lift door operator is in place, but the interlock switch of hoistway door fails. Repair or replace the door lock.
④ Repair or replace the running relay if it fails.
5. The door leaf vibrates greatly when opening and closing the door.
Troubleshooting and Elimination Methods:
① If the door pulley is seriously worn, replace the door pulley.
② If the door guide rail is deformed, loose or skewed, correct, adjust and tighten the guide rail.
③ If there is too much dust or sundries in the chute, which hinders the sliding of the door, clean the chute.
④ If the two rollers of the door lock are not close to the lift door operator, adjust the door lock.
